WebDorfs only trigger (most) traps when dodging, staggered via a throw or webbed. Most traps are any of the placed traps that don't have manual on/off toggle. The exception are lever toggle repeating spike traps. tl;dr: Dorfs have 'trap avoid' like some monsters. Web1 Answer Sorted by: 6 Straight forward answer: Yes, they can walk over traps without triggering them. More detail: Traps that can be triggered themselves (stone-fall, weapon and cage) will not be activated by your own dwarfs, except apparently when they are unconscious ( see DF Wiki ).
