Web23 dec. 2024 · Currently I'm rotating mostly between Honey-Picks Kirinite and Ultem materials, both in their Bumblebee shape, 3mm Small; and a Gravity Gold series Stealth model, 2.5mm Big Mini size - with the Honey-Picks Ultem (at the top) seeing the most use. Used Dunlop Tortex .88mm (green) Standards for years and over the past 2 years been using the Dunlop Ultex Sharp .90mm, nearly the same thickness but just a little more stiff.

If I flex the pick at all, the middle seems to crack and creek a tad where the holes are.

Compared to my (former) favorite pick, the Dunlop Ultex Jazz III, the Honey picks all feel and sound smoother and less gritty. I'm loving them! My favorites of the five are the 2mm acrylic, kirinite, and casein. They're very similar but I'd say warm to bright would be casein, acrylic, kirinite.
